The one thing about having lived in California, moving to Chicago, and then coming back to visit is that you really appreciate all the great things about California that you took for granted when you lived there. I arrived on June 29th and the weather has been absolutely amazing. I'm staying on Balboa Island which is an awesome little community in Newport Beach. Everything here is so beautiful. I was driving along PCH the other day, and I was just amazed at how nice it is. 
I snapped a few pictures this morning of Balboa island for those that haven't been here.
It was also really nice to see some of my best friends here: John Hering and Jordan Wilday. Nothing like going out to El Ranchito on PCH for some good Mexican food and Margartitas. Good times.
