Yesterday I ran in the AIDS Walk Chicago to raise money for AIDS research and awareness. It's a great cause. Thankfully, I know some great people who invited me to be on their team to run. I ran on the Roscoe's team, aptly named "Roscoe's Revelers". There were about 11 of us total: 5 runners, and 6 walkers. I think everyone had a great time. The turnout for the event was amazing. I'd guess there were at least 3600 people running or walking. Every person who ran or walked in the event raised money. I think our team alone raised over $4,000. Great job guys! Next year we'll have to set our goals higher!
