It's been quite some time since I've made a post on the blog. It's been quite a busy fall both professionally and personally. Since my last blog post, I have purchased a new condo in downtown Chicago, moved, and also launched Vodori's first big project, Sopraffina.com.
Personally, it has been quite hectic. Like I was saying, I have moved into a new place downtown. It's about 4 blocks from Wrigley field off of Halsted Street.

All I can say is the place is awesome, the location is awesome, and I have been meeting super amazing people in the neighborhood. I finally feel like I have my own life again which is great. I've been going out quite a bit and having a blast. People really are super nice here. Halloween was a blast here as well. There was a HUGE parade down Halsted street. Let's just say the costumes were quite amazing and you can tell people go out of their way to dress up.

People here in the neighborhood are just amazing. I've met some great couples and been getting involved with the Lakeview Citizens' Council (LVCC). It's run by some great people and many business owners in the neighborhood. The Halloween parade was actually organized by the LVCC. On top of that, I've had a blast going out with some great people. Here are just a couple shots of some of the fun!

Professionally, I have also been SUPER busy. Vodori has launched Sopraffina.com which is an online catering website for the Sopraffina Marketcaffe restaurants in Chicago. It was an awesome project and our client is spectacular. They are an amazing group of people to work with and I look forward to continuing to work with them. Looking ahead, Vodori's non-compete expired on November 18th, 2006 which means that we can compete with our former employer, Fair Isaac toe to toe. We are very excited about this. Two of our former clients while working at Fair Isaac, Roche Diagnostics and Abbott Laboratories are both great and are wonderful to work with. It's been a long year but honestly all the hard work, perseverance, and patience is starting to pay off. Everyone at Vodori, including myself, is extremely excited about what the future holds. Business is extremely good for us right now and it doesn't appear to be letting up anytime soon.
Good friends, good business partners, and good clients… It doesn't get much better than that!
