It seems that when I planned this trip back in December that March 8th was so far away but alas, the time is near. I will be leaving March 8th to head to Barcelona, Spain to visit my sister who has been studying abroad there for the year. I return on March 19th. This trip will be awesome for two reasons: 1) I’m getting to see my sister in a country I’ve never been to and 2) I’m going with my boyfriend Gabe who just happens to be able to speak Spanish fluently and is one of the most amazing people ever.
| Gabe and I will be staying at this hotel called “Husa Oriente”. It is right in the middle of the Ramblas. We will be staying in Barcelona for 12 days so we have plenty of time to see all the architecture, beaches, amazing dining, clubs, and general site seeing. It’s funny because my sister Meg has been collecting passes for the clubs for a while so she’s all ready for Gabe and I to come visit.
You can expect some pictures to be posted over the next 2 weeks as we are traveling through the country. This is assuming of course that I can find Internet access! I’m not sure if my hotel has access yet or not. Needless to say, Gabe and I are very excited to go to Barcelona. Gabe has been to so many places in Europe already but he hasn’t been to Spain yet so it will be extra special for both of us as it will be both of our first times visiting. |
