Easter Sunday was celebrated at my parent’s house in Winnetka. We had much of the extended family. The Splinters came although we were missing Wade’s and Dane’s family. Grandma Mary came and she had a great time as usual. It was great to see everyone.

The biggest news came the night before when Laura’s boyfriend of one year, proposed to her and now they are engaged! Congratulations guys! Easter was the first time I had the opportunity to meet Tim and he is great. He’s super nice, very funny, and very open.

My boyfriend Gabe was able to share Easter with my family and this was the first time he was able to meet my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. They all loved him. Gabe definitely thought they were awesome as well. We all had a great time laughing throughout the afternoon.

My dad, being the traditional gamer that he is, set up an Easter egg hunt around the house with riddles which had to be answered before you could receive the clue as to where the eggs were hidden. It was a lot of fun and I could tell people got into it as everyone was running around the house trying to find all the eggs first. Our team consisted of myself, Gabe, and my cousin Casey. We won naturally.
All in all, it was a great celebration and a lot of fun!
